1/8 - Make an animated GIF
Today we worked on creating an animated GIF using Adobe Photoshop. We took a selfie then cut out our image from the background using the Quick Select tool, pressing the Select Subject button. Once selected, we pressed Ctrl C then selected our open blank HDTV 1080p document then pressed Ctrl V. Once pasted, we copied that layer 4 times by selecting the layer and pressing Ctrl J, four times. We selected Layer 1 copy then went to the Filter menu and selected Liquify. We linked our eyes by clicking the chain link and changed the number setting to 33. After this, we selected Layer 1 copy 2 then went to the Liquify under the Filter menu, linked the eyes and changed the numerical value to 66. Then selected Layer 1 copy 3, repeating the same steps as before except changed the numerical value to 100. With this, we made a frame animation from the layers. Next time, we will export our GIF. You can see the one I made below.
